Pubs in the nearby villages provide good food, and in Yelverton (1.5 miles away) there is a supermarket and other small shops as well as a very good Golf course.

There is access to the open moor just outside the garden gate, with the beautiful Burrator reservoir and surrounding Tors only a
10 minute walk away.
